The Department of International Cooperation was established at Kokand State University to develop international relations and establish cooperation with foreign higher education institutions. The department works to increase the university's international reputation and expand scientific and cultural exchange.
In recent years, the university has signed cooperation agreements and memorandums with leading higher education institutions in Turkey, Russia, South Korea, China, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and other countries.
In 2022-2025, partnerships were established and more than 50 cooperation agreements and memorandums were signed with universities in Russia, Turkey, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Czech Republic, South Korea, United Kingdom, Netherlands, China, Belgium, Azerbaijan, and Indonesia.
According to these memorandums and agreements, more than 500 students were sent abroad to participate in student exchange programs and received international certificates.
More than 60 university professors conducted classes for foreign students at universities included in the QS World University Rankings top 1000.
In 2022-2025, 114 professors completed internships at QS World University Rankings top 1000 universities. More than 20 teachers exchanged experience at universities in the UK and Europe. 156 professors from various universities around the world visited the institute and taught students in different fields.
More than 70 professors participated in international conferences, seminars, and symposiums abroad and received international certificates.
More than 60 webinars were held with partner universities.
In 2022-2024, participation in more than 10 grant projects brought in $200,000.
Currently, memorandums and cooperation agreements have been signed with more than 40 foreign universities.
