Cultural and Educational Activities

At the Museum of Great Scholars, a spiritual and educational event on the topic “National History and Values” was held with the participation of students majoring in Uzbek Language and Literature. During the event, the participants shared performances reflecting our national history and cultural heritage, bringing joy and good spirits to all attendees.

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Center for Increasing the Social Activity of Students and Pupils under the Ministry, together with partner organizations, have announced the winners of the qualifying stage of the “Ilhom” Award competition among students of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute. 1st place – Davletova Nozima Ikromboy qizi, student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology; 2nd place – Sotivoldiyev Dilhayot Qobuljon og‘li, student of the Faculty of Uzbek and Russian Philology; 3rd place – Sodiqova Hushnoza Olimjon qizi, student of the Faculty of Uzbek and Russian Philology.

At Dormitory No. 1 of Kokand State Pedagogical Institute, exciting and intense sports competitions were organized among students at the initiative of the institute’s Sports Club. The event was attended by Ahmadjon Husanov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, who spoke about the importance of sports in strengthening youth health and physical activity, and wished the students success in the competitions. The competitions aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle, increase interest in sports, and foster a friendly atmosphere among students. Participants showed great enthusiasm and energy across various sports disciplines. At the end of the event, winners and active participants were awarded diplomas and valuable prizes. The event left a strong impression on attendees, and it was expressed with confidence that such initiatives will continue to unite many sports-loving students in the future.

The sports hall located at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences has been completely renovated to meet modern standards. The renovation included a full interior upgrade, installation of advanced lighting and ventilation systems, and new sports equipment. Today, the grand opening ceremony of the updated sports hall was held in a festive atmosphere, attended by institute and faculty leadership, professors, students, and guests. Speakers emphasized that the renovated facility is a major step toward encouraging youth to engage in regular physical activity and promoting a healthy lifestyle. The upgraded sports complex is now expected to increase student interest in sports and enable the organization of high-level competitions.

In honor of the 689th anniversary of the birth of the great commander and founder of a powerful empire, Amir Temur, a student competition titled “We Are Worthy Descendants of Our Ancestors” was held at the Faculty of Uzbek and Russian Philology as part of the “Master of Justice and Power” week. The event aimed to strengthen patriotic feelings among young men, instill respect for our historical heritage, and encourage the study of the exemplary life and achievements of our great ancestor, Sahibqiron Amir Temur. During the competition, students demonstrated both their physical and intellectual abilities. Participants actively competed in various challenges related to historical knowledge, sports, and cultural awareness.

Students from the Faculty of Art Studies and Sports at Kokand State University took a cultural trip to the Museum of Great Scholars and the Writers’ Alley in the city. During the visit, they explored various documents, exhibits, and artifacts related to Uzbek folklore and literature, enriching their knowledge in the field. At the Writers’ Alley, students respectfully recited poetic excerpts in front of the bas-reliefs of prominent literary figures such as Amiriy, Nodira, Uvaysiy, Muqimiy, Zavqiy, Furqat, Haziniy, Hamza Hakimzoda Niyoziy, Abdulla Qahhor, Usmon Nosir, Charxiy, and Sobir Abdulla. The excursion provided a meaningful opportunity for students to deepen their interest in history, art, literature, and culture.
