Meetings with Parents Continue
At Kokand State University, meetings with parents of newly admitted first-year students are being consistently held under the theme “I am not indifferent to my child’s future.”
In this context, the latest meeting was held at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology. The event was attended by Ahmadjon Husanov, First Vice-Rector of the university, Nigora Erkaboyeva, Dean of the Faculty, Mirzobek Mahmudov, Head of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Control Department, faculty members, assigned prevention inspectors, students, and their parents.
The meeting was opened by Dean Nigora Erkaboyeva, who spoke about the key priorities in the educational and upbringing process for the new academic year, the responsibilities of parents, and the importance of ongoing collaboration. She also shared updates on reforms being implemented at the faculty and efforts to align the educational process with modern standards.
Vice-Rector Ahmadjon Husanov emphasized the broad opportunities being created for youth by the university leadership, as well as ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education and the upbringing process. He also stressed the importance of parents being actively involved in their children’s academic progress, social life, and interests.

Spiritual-Educational Meeting Held on “Enlightenment Against Ignorance”
Today, Kokand State University hosted a spiritual-educational meeting titled “Enlightenment Against Ignorance,” attended by Zokirjon Khakimov, chief specialist of the Regional Department of the Committee on Religious Affairs of Fergana Region, along with students. The event aimed to raise youth awareness, promote religious tolerance, and encourage the proper use of modern information sources.
At the beginning of the meeting, Zokirjon Khakimov provided detailed insights into the negative consequences of ignorance in modern society. He emphasized that the key tools to counter ignorance include scientific knowledge, a deep understanding of historical and national values, and open, constructive dialogue. He noted that fostering religious tolerance and civic perspectives can help prevent the spread of extremist ideas among youth.
The impact of social media on young minds was a major topic of discussion. Experts stressed the importance of improving digital literacy, verifying the reliability of sources, and adhering to personal safety guidelines to protect against information attacks, false data, and radical content. Methods for strengthening youth spiritually through national and universal values were also explored. Students actively engaged in the discussion, sharing their thoughts and asking relevant questions. Officials responded thoroughly to each inquiry, offering practical advice, educational materials, and additional resources. It was observed that students showed strong interest in topics such as information security, criteria for selecting religious sources, and constructive dialogue on social platforms.

Kokand State University: Festive Events Dedicated to the Devotees of Education
On October 1st — in honor of Teachers and Mentors Day — festive events were held across all faculties of Kokand State University with the participation of professors, mentors, and labor veterans.
During the ceremonies, the university’s First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Ahmadjon Husanov, delivered a speech congratulating the esteemed teachers and education devotees on their professional holiday. In his address, he emphasized the invaluable role and dedicated efforts of educators in the university’s ongoing educational reforms and achievements.
A large group of teachers, mentors, and honorary educators who have been actively involved in the educational and upbringing process were awarded commemorative gifts. This served as a vivid expression of respect and appreciation for their years of devoted service.

“Five Initiatives Olympics”: Students Showed Their Skills in Table Tennis
As part of the “Five Initiatives Olympics,” Kokand State University hosted a table tennis competition.
Top student players from seven university faculties — three from each — participated in the tournament. They showcased their skills, agility, and determination in a highly competitive environment.

“National Values Exhibition” Held
An exhibition titled “National Values” was organized at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kokand State University to broaden students’ spiritual worldview, foster national identity, and promote customs and traditions.
The exhibition showcased national costumes, samples of folk applied arts, traditional dishes, items related to family ceremonies, as well as ancient ornaments and traditional accessories specific to different regions — all crafted by the students themselves.
The event was attended by the university’s First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Ahmadjon Husanov, who praised the students’ initiative and their deep appreciation for national values.

Vice-Rector Visited Students Living in Rental Apartments
At Kokand State University, practical efforts aimed at improving students' living conditions, resolving their social issues in a timely manner, and ensuring life comfort alongside education are consistently ongoing.
Today, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Ahmajon Husanov, Chairwoman of the Women's Advisory Council Barnoxon Hasanova, Women's Affairs Inspector Zulhumor Hayitova, and a working group of tutors visited the homes of students living in rental apartments in local neighborhoods.
During the visit, the team examined the apartments' readiness for the autumn-winter season, heating systems, hygienic conditions, fire safety requirements, and the amenities provided. Some shortcomings were identified on-site, and appropriate recommendations were given to the homeowners and responsible parties for their resolution.
The conversation also covered students' academic processes, meaningful use of free time, and participation in social activities. Their suggestions and opinions were heard, and necessary support measures were determined.
These visits serve to strengthen students' social protection, maintain constant attention to their needs, and reinforce an atmosphere of mutual trust and cooperation between the educational institution and its students.
