PES 2013 tournament held at Kokand State University
As part of the “Relevant 90 Days” initiative, Kokand State University hosted another student computer game tournament. This time, the competition was based on the popular football simulator PES 2013.
The main goal of the event was to foster a healthy competitive environment among youth and promote meaningful leisure activities. The tournament was held in a spirited and sportsmanlike atmosphere. Participants competed with mutual respect and friendship, showing great enthusiasm in their pursuit of victory.
Throughout the matches, students demonstrated quick thinking, strategic approaches, and technical skills. Spectators cheered them on with excitement.
After intense and engaging battles, the winners were announced:
1st place – Yoqubjon Ahmadov
2nd place – Dilshodbek G‘ulomov
3rd place – Ayubxon Obidov
During the award ceremony, the winners and runners-up received honorary diplomas and commemorative gifts. The prizes were personally presented by the university’s First Vice-Rector Ahmadjon Husanov, who congratulated the students on their achievements and encouraged them to remain active in the future.
At the end of the event, participants expressed their gratitude to the organizers, emphasizing that such competitions not only provide entertainment but also strengthen the spirit of friendship and teamwork.

“Modern Girls’ Circle” competition held at Kokand State University
As part of the “Relevant 90 Days” initiative, the Faculty of Philology at Kokand State University hosted a creative and knowledge-based competition among female students titled “Modern Girls’ Circle.”
The event aimed to encourage the younger generation—especially female students—to showcase their modern knowledge, reading habits, entrepreneurial ideas, and talents, while also offering spiritual and intellectual support.
The competition consisted of four segments:
Team Introduction — Participants expressed their views on “Who is a modern girl?” through stage performances and poetry. Each team vividly portrayed the image of a modern woman as educated, active, initiative-driven, and respectful of national values.
Reader of Our Time — In this round, students tested their literary knowledge by answering questions about the books they’ve read and the lives and works of authors, promoting the importance of reading in enriching thought and worldview.
Business Idea (or Startup Idea) — Contestants presented innovative proposals related to modern entrepreneurship.
Show Yourself — The most colorful and emotionally rich part of the contest, where team members showcased their personal talents.
At the conclusion, organizers emphasized that such events serve not only as platforms for youth to demonstrate their abilities, but also as schools of friendship, collaboration, and self-development.

Kokand State University student becomes Asian champion
At the Asian Championship held in Bangkok, Kokand State University student Khumorabonu Mamajonova proudly raised the flag of our nation.
From August 1 to 11, the city of Bangkok, Thailand hosted the Asian Championship for youth and boxers under the age of 22.
In this prestigious competition, Khumorabonu Mamajonova, a student of Physical Education at Kokand State University, competed in the -57 kg weight category and defeated all her opponents to claim the gold medal.
It’s worth noting that Team Uzbekistan dominated the championship in both divisions, securing first place in the overall team standings. Our athletes earned a total of 15 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals.

“Rector’s Cup – 2025”: Top mini-football teams announced
One of the most anticipated sports events of the summer at Kokand State University — the “Rector’s Cup – 2025” mini-football tournament — has concluded. Held within the framework of the “Relevant 90 Days” initiative, the event brought together football enthusiasts and neighborhood youth, turning into a true celebration of sport.
On August 14, 2025, the tournament was organized in collaboration with the university’s Sports Club, the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Department of Physical Education, and the Kokand City branch of the Youth Affairs Agency.
After a series of exciting and competitive matches, the top teams were:

A Prosperous and Pleasant Neighborhood – the Pride of the Nation!
Across the country, large-scale charity clean-up campaigns are being held under the slogan “A Prosperous and Pleasant Neighborhood – the Pride of the Nation!”.
Faculty members and students of Kokand State University have actively joined this noble initiative, making a meaningful contribution to beautification efforts.
During the campaign, student dormitory areas and surrounding walkways are being tidied up. Trees and flowerbeds are being cared for, adding charm to the green spaces. Students are collecting waste, cleaning the area, removing unusable equipment, and carrying out renovation work.
The beautification efforts are organized in a spirit of unity and coordination, which is noteworthy. This not only creates a comfortable environment for students but also helps enhance their ecological awareness and sense of collective responsibility.
Hundreds of university students and faculty members are actively participating in these clean-up events, contributing to making their living and learning environment more beautiful, clean, and vibrant.

“Knowledge Day” Celebrated with Ceremony at Kokand State University
On September 3rd, Kokand State University held large-scale events across its faculties to mark the beginning of the new academic year and celebrate “Knowledge Day.” From early morning, students, professors, and parents were welcomed in a festive atmosphere accompanied by traditional music from karnay, surnay, and doira performers.
The official ceremony began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Participants sang the anthem together, stepping into the new academic year with high spirits.
Ahmadjon Husanov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, along with faculty deans, warmly congratulated attendees on the start of the academic year. In their speeches, they emphasized the value of independence, the progress of science, and the importance of supporting the intellectual potential of youth. Students were also encouraged to demonstrate active civic engagement, uphold academic integrity, and participate in innovative initiatives.
During the event, honorary professors shared inspiring messages based on their life experiences, highlighting that consistent effort, discipline, and ambition are the keys to success. First-year students who were admitted with high scores shared their impressions and pledged to make the most of the educational opportunities at the university.
The festive program continued with poetry readings on themes of homeland, knowledge, and independence, which uplifted the audience’s spirits. Short theatrical performances by students and musical pieces by the youth ensemble added charm to the celebration.
After the ceremony, students were guided to their classrooms under the supervision of their tutors.
