Volleyball Tournament Held at Kokand State University Under the Motto “Let’s Unite for the Prosperity of Our Homeland”

In celebration of the 120th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s trade union movement, Kokand State University organized sports competitions among faculty and staff under the slogan “Let’s Unite for the Prosperity of Our Homeland.” 💪 The men's volleyball matches showcased the true charm of the sport. Throughout the intense games, participants demonstrated strong enthusiasm and athletic spirit. 👥 The event was attended by Ahmadjon Husanov, First Vice-Rector of the university; Ahadjon Rahmatullayev, Chair of the Trade Union; and other senior officials. 🎁 At the end of the tournament, all active participants received commemorative gifts. The competition concluded on a high note, leaving behind positive impressions and joyful memories.

Within this initiative, students are actively engaged in practical sessions in chemistry laboratories, where they strengthen their theoretical knowledge through experiments. This effort helps spark scientific curiosity, allows students to test what they’ve learned in real-world conditions, and enhances their practical skills. The "Young Inventors" club, operating under the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Kokand State University, continues its activities consistently even during the summer break. Club leader M. Kuchkarov, tutor A. Boynazarov, and talented student members are making the most of this period by analyzing the properties of solid bodies and obtaining calculation results for publication in local and international scientific journals. Such initiatives help increase young people's interest in science, promote the publication of their research findings in scientific and methodological journals, and encourage the application of these results in their future careers.

Students are actively participating in the “Relevant 90 Days” gala concerts

As part of the “Relevant 90 Days” initiative, various events are being organized across regions to strengthen spiritual and educational efforts among youth and to encourage their active involvement in social life. In particular, students from the Faculty of Art Studies and Sports, along with the Youth Affairs, Spirituality and Enlightenment Department of Kokand State University, are actively participating in gala concerts held under the slogan “United we are one nation, together we are the homeland.” At recent concert events held in the “Youth” recreation park in Kokand city and the leisure area of Buvayda district, university students showcased stage performances, creative projects, and artistic presentations. Their contributions left a strong impression on attendees and played a significant role in ensuring the concert program was conducted in a lively and uplifting atmosphere.

Students explored the “Eternal City” historical and ethnographic complex

A group of talented students from Kokand State University traveled to the ancient yet vibrant city of Samarkand as part of the “Relevant 90 Days” project and an initiative to promote domestic tourism. On the first day of the trip, the students visited the “Eternal City” historical and ethnographic complex, where they enjoyed the harmonious blend of antiquity and modernity. This site showcases various branches of traditional Uzbek craftsmanship. As part of the journey, a special cultural and entertainment program was also organized for the students.

Kokand State University delegation visits the Pedagogical Museum in Prague

A delegation from Kokand State University, led by Rector Dilnoza Khodjayeva and currently on a visit to the Czech Republic, paid a visit to the world-renowned Pedagogical Museum named after Jan Amos Comenius, located in Prague. During the visit, the delegation was warmly welcomed by the museum administration. Throughout the meeting, both sides explored the museum’s activities, its history, and exhibits in detail, and exchanged experiences. Rector Dilnoza Khodjayeva left her wishes in the museum’s guestbook. The meeting also included discussions on future cooperation, particularly the proposal to establish a “National Museum of Education” at Kokand State University. This initiative is expected to further strengthen bilateral academic and educational ties and promote historical and spiritual heritage more broadly. It is worth noting that the museum, founded in 1892, holds a rich collection of materials covering key historical stages and developments in education from the 9th century to the present day. Its exhibits include rare sources related to the formation and evolution of global education systems. This visit by the Kokand State University delegation to the Czech Republic marks another significant step toward enhancing international academic and educational cooperation.
