Kokand State University hosted a “Political Debate: Youth Debate Club” in collaboration with the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople — Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party. The event was attended by Ahmadjon Husanov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work; Abdurahmon Toyirov, Head of the Organizational Department of the Fergana Regional Council of the Party and member of the Youth Parliament under the Senate; Chief Specialist Muqadas Asronqulova; Sardorbek Sultonov, Head of the Department for Youth Issues and Entrepreneurship Support of the Fergana Regional Council; T. Mo‘minov, representative of the Kokand City Council of the Party; and university students. The gathering featured open and well-reasoned discussions on pressing topics such as political culture, leadership, and civic engagement. The event helped broaden students’ perspectives, improve their public speaking skills, and encouraged active participation in socio-political processes.

A gala concert promoting peace, harmony, and interethnic friendship was held at the “Youth” Park in Kokand. The event was organized under the slogan “United We Are One Nation, Together We Are the Homeland.” The concert brought together university students, neighborhood activists, and members of the public. Performances by pop singers and talented students from Kokand State University left a lasting impression on the audience. The event also featured quizzes, interactive games, and intellectual competitions that lifted spirits and created a festive atmosphere. Winners were awarded commemorative gifts.

Kokand State University hosted a special gathering with the “Omadli Yoshlar” team, semifinalists of Season 3 of the Premier League round of the “Witty and Cheerful” student competition. The event was attended by Ahmadjon Husanov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work; Alisher Anvarov, Chair of the Fergana Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan; and members of the “Omadli Yoshlar” team. The discussion focused on the team’s stage performances, creative projects, and the role of humor and positivity in fostering a healthy environment among youth. At the conclusion of the event, Alisher Anvarov acknowledged the team’s dedicated efforts and presented Letters of Appreciation to the university leadership and team members.

From May 13 to 16, 2025, the Uzbekistan Para Athletics Championship for adults was held at the “Yangiobod” national training base in Angren. Husnida Ko‘shmonova, a Physical Education student at Kokand State University, earned two silver medals in the F11 discus throw category and one bronze medal in the 100-meter sprint. The Kokand State University community congratulates Husnida Ko‘shmonova on her outstanding achievements and wishes her continued success in future competitions!

A cultural-educational event titled “Student Evening” was held at the dormitory of Kokand State University to help students spend their free time in a meaningful, enjoyable, and culturally enriching way. The event was warmly welcomed by students with great enthusiasm and excitement. 🎶 The evening featured danceable tunes and live performances by honored artists of Uzbekistan — Muhsinjon Mo‘minov and To‘lqinjon Haydarov — along with Associate Professor E’zozxon Qobilova, creating a truly festive atmosphere for the youth. 💃 Filled with music, dance, and warmth, the “Student Evening” played a key role in boosting students’ creative engagement and strengthening friendly connections among them. 🏫 The university administration emphasized that such events are regularly organized and contribute significantly to enriching the social and spiritual life of young people.

On May 26 of this year, students from the Faculty of Art Studies and Sports at Kokand State University staged the play “Afandi’s Five Wives” at the Kokand Musical Drama Theater, based on the work of Ibrohim Sodiqov. 👥 The performance was warmly received by university faculty, students, and art enthusiasts. Rich in the humorous traditions of folk storytelling, the play showcased students’ acting skills, stage movement, and their dedication to character development. 🎬 The production was directed by Otabek Anvarov, instructor of the “Acting Mastery” course, who worked closely with students to prepare the play with great care. 🌟 Events like this play a vital role in unlocking students’ creative potential, deepening interest in national theater arts, and strengthening practical performance skills.
