A spiritual and educational event was held as part of the “From Poverty to Prosperity” program

In the “Katta Turk” neighborhood citizens’ assembly of Dangara district, Fergana region, a spiritual and educational event was held under the slogan “One Homeland – One Goal.” The event was organized within the framework of the “From Poverty to Prosperity” program and brought together participants including Ahmadjon Husanov, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work at Kokand State University, university professors, active students, and local residents. During the event, sports competitions, a poetry night, a quiz, and interactive discussions were held, leaving a strong impression on attendees. Such initiatives play an important role in strengthening patriotism, unity, and social engagement within the community.

A literary and artistic contest titled “The Pen and the Heart” was organized

As part of the “Relevant 90 Days” initiative, an artistic and literary contest titled “The Pen and the Heart” was organized among active students of the Faculty of Pedagogy. More than 50 talented students from the faculty took part in the competition. Through their creative works, the participants expressed their views on life, literature, humanity, and homeland.

Table tennis competitions held as part of the “Rector’s Cup”

At Kokand State University, a table tennis tournament titled the “Rector’s Cup” was organized within the framework of the “Relevant 90 Days” initiative, launched under the President’s directive. The event brought together 230 talented young participants selected from 68 neighborhood assemblies across Kokand city. The competition aimed to make students’ free time more meaningful, boost their interest in sports, and promote a healthy lifestyle. According to the final results: Among boys: 1st place: M. Abdurahmonov (8-MFY); 2nd place: T. Rafiqov (6-MFY); 3rd place: B. Boymurodov (34-MFY). Among girls: 1st place: M. Ne’matova (18-MFY); 2nd place: M. Namozova (39-MFY); 3rd place: S. Muhammedova (27-MFY). Winners and prize recipients were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts by Kokand State University.

Debate victory goes to the “Creative” team

Kokand State University hosted another intellectual competition aimed at developing students’ critical thinking abilities. As part of the “Relevant 90 Days” initiative, a debate contest was held between the “Creative” and “Tomaris” teams. During the competition, the teams engaged in discussions on pressing topics from “Affirmation” and “Rebuttal” positions, presenting their arguments with solid evidence, concise analysis, and bold questions. Evaluated by the audience and jury, both teams were praised for their knowledge, eloquence, and debating skills. After a heated and uncompromising battle, the “Creative” team secured a narrow victory. It’s worth noting that such competitions help students develop not only analytical thinking but also teamwork, listening skills, and the ability to respectfully engage with opposing viewpoints. Most importantly, these events nurture the leaders of tomorrow.

Our university holds more than 50 different cultural, educational and spiritual-educational events annually. These events provide an excellent opportunity to increase students' social activity, instill love for national values and showcase their creative abilities.
