“Dedication to Student Life” Celebration Held at Kokand State University

On November 17, in honor of International Students’ Day, Kokand State University held its traditional “Dedication to Student Life” celebration at the Kokand City Musical Drama Theater. This event holds special significance as an important milestone in the lives of young people and is celebrated each year with great enthusiasm and festivity. At the beginning of the event, the university’s rector, Professor Dilnoza Khodjayeva, took the stage and warmly congratulated the audience. In her speech, she spoke about students’ pursuit of knowledge, their achievements, and their role in the university’s development, wishing them success and new accomplishments. During the celebration, active, talented, and initiative-taking students were specially recognized. Those who had achieved outstanding results in academics, creativity, sports, and community work were invited to the stage and presented with commemorative gifts and letters of appreciation. This served as a strong motivation for their future success. One of the most exciting moments of the event was the participation of honored artists of Uzbekistan — Mukhsinbek Muminov and Ilhom Ibrohimov — as well as the beloved wordsmith Elmurod Khaknazarov. Their songs, humor, and live performances added joy and vibrancy to the celebration. The “Dedication to Student Life” event, held in a grand and festive manner, left a lasting impression on students and contributed to a truly celebratory atmosphere for International Students’ Day.

University Task Force Studies Rental Apartments

At Kokand State University, a task force established to improve students’ social life and living conditions conducted another monitoring visit to apartments rented by students. During the inspection, members of the task force examined essential living conditions — room temperature, heating system, cleanliness, water supply, and their proper functioning. Special attention was also given to compliance with safety requirements and general hygiene standards. The process was led by First Vice-Rector Ahmadjon Khusanov. During the visit, he spoke with students, listened to their daily needs, problems, and suggestions. Some of the issues raised by students were resolved on the spot, and specific instructions were given to responsible staff regarding the shortcomings identified in the rental apartments.

An Educational Event Held on Combating Violence Against Women and AIDS

An educational event was organized at the Faculty of Foreign Philology of Kokand State University under the slogan “Let’s Unite to End Digital Violence Against Women.” As part of the event, students were provided with essential knowledge on creating a safe environment in the digital space, preventing online violence, and protecting women's rights. In addition, a roundtable discussion was held in connection with December 1 — World AIDS Day — during which medical professionals provided detailed information on HIV prevention and the importance of proactive health measures. During the event, participants received recommendations on maintaining a healthy lifestyle, social responsibility, internet ethics, and the conscious and safe use of digital technologies.

The Constitution — the Foundation of Our Happiness

At the Faculty of Humanities and Languages of Kokand State University, a spiritual and educational event titled “The Constitution — the Foundation of Our Happiness” was held in honor of the adoption day of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was opened by the university’s First Vice-Rector, Ahmadjon Husanov. In his speech, he emphasized the role of the Constitution in the life of the state and society, its importance in guaranteeing human rights and freedoms, and the opportunities it creates for youth. During the event, faculty members and active students spoke about the core principles of the Constitution, its role in strengthening democratic values, and key aspects of improving legal literacy among young people. The artistic part of the event continued in an uplifting spirit. Songs and dances performed by students touched the hearts of the audience. The creative performances helped deepen the understanding of the Constitution’s spiritual significance. At the end of the event, letters of appreciation were awarded to active students.

At the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of Kokand State University, a New Year celebration titled “Year in Review” was held in a warm, cheerful, and festive atmosphere. The event, hosted at the “Turon” Cultural Palace, once again showcased the students’ creativity, enthusiasm, and strong sense of unity. Throughout the celebration, students presented a colorful array of stage performances, joyful and emotional theatrical scenes, captivating songs, graceful dances, as well as artistic and poetic compositions that uplifted the audience’s spirits. Each performance reflected the accomplishments, achievements, and bright memories of the past year, earning admiration and applause from the audience. During the event, students who had been active in academics, science, and community work throughout the year were recognized and honored. Their dedication and efforts were specially acknowledged, inspiring others to strive for new heights and become even more engaged. The “Year in Review” celebration served not only as a reflection on the past year but also as a joyful welcome to the New Year filled with noble intentions, grand plans, and cherished dreams.
