Contest Winners Announced

Kokand State University held a “Best Video Clip” contest among students to promote national identity, introduce youth to cultural heritage and ancient traditions, and foster a spirit of patriotism. Throughout the contest, students created video clips on various themes, blending creativity, national spirit, and aesthetics to showcase their knowledge and talents. The judging criteria included originality, content, presentation style, and technical quality. Contest winners: 1st place — Karimjon Karimjonov, student of the Faculty of Philology 2nd place — Dilnoza Abdurahimova, student of the Faculty of Art Studies and Sports 3rd place — Havasxon Zaylobiddinova, student of the Faculty of Philology Winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts.

The Uzbekistan Athletics Federation Stadium in Tashkent hosted the national athletics championship for adults and athletes under 20. In the discus throw category, Muhammadali Sodiqov, a student of Physical Education at Kokand State University, claimed an impressive 1st place in the U20 division, earning a gold medal. From April 21 to 26, 2025, the “Cyber Arena” sports complex in Jizzakh hosted the Uzbekistan Fencing Championship for athletes under the age of 23. TIthe team foil category, Maftuna Davronova, a Physical Education student at Kokand State University, competed as part of the “Fergana-1” team and earned a proud 1st place, winning the gold medal. 🎉 The Kokand State University community congratulates Maftuna Davronova on this remarkable achievement and wishes her continued success in future competitions

Warm Gathering with Student Athletes at Kokand State University

Today, Kokand State University’s Sports Club hosted a heartfelt meeting with student-athletes who successfully participated in the “Student Run” marathon. As a reminder, seven students from our university achieved commendable results in the marathon held among higher education institutions in the Fergana region. The event was attended by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, as well as the Deputy Chair of the Sports Club. On behalf of the university community, they expressed gratitude to the athletes and recognized their achievements. During the gathering, students shared their impressions and were encouraged to remain active in promoting sports and a healthy lifestyle. The meeting took place in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

During the program, the poet’s finest verses were recited, accompanied by heartfelt songs and melodies that warmed the soul. Through sincere conversations and warm interactions, participants once again felt the power of Muhammad Yusuf’s poetry to inspire kindness and compassion in the human heart. The event left a lasting impression on all who attended.

“Heroism for the Prosperity, Peace, and Protection of the Homeland Will Never Be Forgotten”

Today, a spiritual-educational event was held at the Information Resource Center of Kokand State University, dedicated to May 9 — the Day of Remembrance and Honor, under the slogan “Heroism for the Prosperity, Peace, and Protection of the Homeland Will Never Be Forgotten.” The event involved the Faculties of Pedagogy and Social Sciences. The gathering honored the memory of ancestors who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the nation. Their bravery and devotion were presented as a source of inspiration for the youth. The event featured guest speakers who had served in Afghanistan as part of international forces — Rafiqjon Ahmedov (Associate Professor of the Faculty of Art Studies and Sports, member of the Union of Composers and Musicians of Uzbekistan, recipient of the “Shuhrat” Medal, the “For Selfless Service” Order, and the “Devoted to Culture and Art” badge) G‘ofirjon Yunusov (Associate Professor of the same faculty, recipient of the “Devoted to Culture and Art” badge) They shared their life experiences and reflections on loyalty to the homeland with the students. The event left a profound impression and served as a meaningful contribution to the patriotic education of the youth.
