About the department
The Department of Research, Innovation and Scientific-Pedagogical Staff Training is one of the main structural units of the university, coordinating research activities and managing the processes of training scientific staff.
This department was established to organize scientific and innovative activities at the university, to help increase the scientific potential of professors, teachers and researchers. The department operates on the basis of the rector's order and the decisions of the Academic Council, in accordance with the relevant regulations.
The main task of the department is to develop research and innovative projects at the university, organize the process of training scientific and scientific-pedagogical staff (PhD, DSc), and ensure the implementation of scientific developments in practice.
Main tasks of the department
Research activities
- Developing the university's annual research plan and regularly monitoring its implementation
- Assisting in holding scientific seminars, conferences, and symposiums
- Developing innovative-corporate cooperation between science, education and production
Postgraduate education
- Organizing admission to basic doctoral studies, doctoral studies and independent researchers
- Attesting doctoral students within the established timeframes
- Accepting independent researchers 4 times a year and forming registry folders
Organizational and legal work
- Ensuring the execution of documents and orders received through electronic platforms
- Organizing the process of assigning additional payments to employees with academic degrees
- Organizing qualification exams 4 times a year
Department activity details
Research activities
- Establishing cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Agency for Innovative Development and other organizations
- Developing the database of scientific publications, providing research with literature and statistical data
- Implementing scientific innovations from dissertations into the educational and scientific process
- Developing and implementing a system of material and moral incentives for the best research works
- Accepting articles for the university journal and preparing the journal
Doctoral and independent researchers
- Monitoring the uploading of doctoral students' reports (3/6/9/12 months) to the system
- Organizing the admission process to doctoral studies
- Preparing relevant orders for admitted researchers (admission, expulsion)
- Organizing monitoring twice a year
Cooperation
The department works in cooperation with all faculties and departments of the university on the above tasks. The results of the department's activities are discussed annually at the meetings of the Academic Council of the university and relevant reports are presented.
