Kokand State University Expands International Cooperation with Finland
Kokand State University and Prime Education Finland (Finland) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at fostering cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and cultural exchange.
It is well known that Finland’s education system is recognized as one of the most advanced and effective in the world. This partnership provides Kokand State University with an opportunity not only to expand its international relations but also to learn from Finland’s innovative educational practices and adapt them to the national education context.
The memorandum is designed to promote long-term and mutually beneficial collaboration between the two institutions, creating new academic and research opportunities for students, professors, and scholars.
The cooperation will include the following areas:
- development of joint educational programs that meet the accreditation and qualification standards of both sides;
- ensuring mutual recognition and transparency of academic credits under the credit system;
- exchange of bachelor’s and master’s students for internships and research activities;
- exchange of faculty members for teaching and scientific work;
- sharing of educational and research materials, library resources, and publications;
- organization of joint conferences, seminars, and workshops.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Ilhom Khalimzoda, Director of Prime Education Finland, and Prof. Dilnoza Khodjayeva Shavkatovna, Rector of Kokand State University.
This agreement marks an important step toward enhancing Kokand State University’s international standing, accelerating integration into the European education system, and improving modern teaching practices through the adoption of Finland’s advanced educational experience.
