Republican Scientific-Practical Conference on Foreign Language Teaching Held
The Department of Foreign Language Theory at Kokand State University hosted a republican scientific-practical conference titled “Modern Trends in Teaching Foreign Languages in Preschool and Primary Education.”
The event featured extensive discussions on innovative methods of foreign language teaching, the psychological and didactic foundations of educating preschool children, as well as key issues related to developing language skills in primary education.
Within the framework of the conference, the publication of a collection of scientific articles and abstracts is planned. The conference brought together university faculty members, leading specialists from research institutions, doctoral students, independent researchers, and master’s degree students who presented their research findings.
The scientific-practical event operated through the following sections:
- Innovative approaches to teaching foreign languages as a second language;
- Psychological, didactic, and linguistic aspects of teaching a foreign language to preschool children;
- Current issues in developing language skills in preschool and primary education;
- Topical issues of modern linguistics and literary studies.
The conference served as an important platform for improving the quality of education, strengthening scientific cooperation, and enhancing the methodology of foreign language teaching.
