New Year — a Celebration of Love and Joy for Children

An unforgettable New Year celebration was held at a specialized school for children with hearing impairments located in the city of Kokand. The festive event titled “New Year — a Celebration of Joy and Kindness”, organized by students of the Surdopedagogy program of Kokand State University and Associate Professor of the Department of Special Pedagogy Khurshidakhon Rahimova, brought genuine holiday cheer to the children.

The main aim of the event was to support children with hearing impairments, increase their social engagement, and strengthen the professional and practical skills of future surdopedagogy students. Through the celebration, seeds of joy, confidence, and kindness were planted in the children’s hearts.

The festive program began with colorful stage performances. Engaging presentations prepared by the students, cheerful dances, expressive poems, and interactive games were met with great interest and active participation from the children. Each performance brought smiles to the children’s faces and created a warm and sincere atmosphere in the hall. At the end of the event, New Year gifts were distributed to the children.

This festive event vividly demonstrated the principles of inclusive education in practice and promoted such high values as compassion, humanity, and social responsibility.
