Practical Exams as a Key Criterion of Professional Training
At Kokand State University, in order to expand practice-oriented approaches to assessing the educational process, final examinations are conducted not only in written and test formats, but also in practical forms based on the specific characteristics of academic disciplines.
In particular, at the Faculty of Arts and Sports, final examinations in 9 academic programs are held in a practical format, involving a total of 798 students from the 1st to the 4th years of study. During these examinations, students demonstrate their professional preparedness, practical knowledge, and skills through direct performance, training sessions, and practical assignments.
In addition, final assessments in all 172 subjects taught at the faculty are organized in practical forms, taking into account their specific features and practical orientation. The assessment processes are carried out in strict accordance with current regulations and established criteria, with full adherence to the principles of openness and transparency.
It is worth emphasizing that practical final examinations contribute to integrating students’ theoretical knowledge with real-world practical activities, strengthening their professional competencies, and enhancing their level of readiness for future professional employment.
