QDU Student Becomes Asian Champion

At the Asian Championship held in Bangkok, Kokand State University student Khumorabonu Mamajonova proudly raised our national flag on the podium.

From August 1 to 11, Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, hosted the Asian Championship for youth and boxers under 22 years old.

In this prestigious competition, Khumorabonu Mamajonova, a Physical Education student at Kokand State University competing in the -57 kg weight category, defeated all her opponents to claim the gold medal.

It is worth noting that at this championship, the Uzbekistan national team dominated in both divisions and secured first place in the overall team standings, winning a total of 15 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
