"Rector’s Cup – 2025": The Best in Mini-Football Announced
One of the most anticipated sports events of the summer — the “Rector’s Cup – 2025” mini-football tournament — has come to an end at Kokand State University. Held as part of the “Topical 90 Days” project, the tournament brought together football enthusiasts and neighborhood youth, turning into a true sports celebration.
On August 14 of this year, in cooperation with the Sports Club, the Department of Spirituality and Enlightenment, the Department of Physical Education, and the Kokand City Branch of the Youth Affairs Agency, Kokand State University hosted the “Rector’s Cup – 2025” mini-football tournament within the framework of the “Topical 90 Days” project.
In a competition full of close and exciting matches, the winners were determined as follows:
1st place — G‘ishtli Masjid MFC
2nd place — Qipchoqariq MFC
3rd place — Chorchinor MFC
Winners in individual categories:
Best Player — Muhammadjon Umarov (Qipchoqariq MFC)
Best Goalkeeper — Muhammad Amin Valiev (G‘ishtli Masjid MFC)
