The New Academic Year Will Begin on September 3

By the relevant order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the start dates of the new 2025/2026 academic year in higher education institutions and academic lyceums have been approved.

Accordingly:

classes for all students of academic lyceums and first-year students of higher education institutions will begin on September 3, 2025;

for second-year and senior students of higher education institutions – from September 8.

For first-year students admitted to higher education institutions, the events “Introduction to the Credit Education System Week” and “Dedication to Student Life” will be organized.

Within the framework of the week:

students will be introduced to the activities of the higher education institution, the content and advantages of the credit-module system will be explained, and guidance on making purposeful choices of elective courses will be provided;

efforts will be made to develop independent learning skills among students, promote the principles of academic integrity, and carry out awareness-raising activities regarding professional and personal development.
