“For the Motherland, for the Nation, for the People” – Lessons of Independence
At all faculties of Kokand State University, a “Lesson of Independence” dedicated to the 34th anniversary of our country’s independence was held under the motto “For the Motherland, for the Nation, for the People.”
Students, professors, young scholars, and guests took part in these lessons. The main purpose of the event was to further strengthen among young people a sense of loyalty to the Motherland, respect for national values, and responsibility before the people.
During the classes conducted by experienced professors of the Department of History, participants were provided with extensive information about the historical stages of Uzbekistan’s path to independence, the reforms of the early years of sovereignty, and the achievements of today’s development. The lessons also highlighted the accomplishments gained through independence, the nation’s aspirations for a free and prosperous life, and the essence of the large-scale reforms being carried out under the leadership of the President.
In their speeches, students shared their views on the importance of independence in their lives, their confidence in the future, and their aspirations. Their words reflected national pride, a sense of responsibility for the country’s prosperity, and lofty ambitions.
The “Lesson of Independence” proved to be important not only for enriching historical knowledge but also for instilling in young people a spirit of pride and responsibility, as well as fostering devotion and dedication to the Motherland.
