New students get acquainted with the university
As part of Orientation Week organized for first-year students at Kokand State University, the Faculty of Humanities and Languages arranged an introductory campus tour for freshmen.
Throughout the week, the faculty’s new students were provided with detailed information about the university’s infrastructure, its various departments, as well as the opportunities available for use during the learning process. In particular, students became familiar with the IT Park, the Information Resource Center, classrooms, and the activities of academic departments.
During the tour, students were introduced to the university library’s rich collection, modern classrooms equipped with advanced information technologies, as well as educational opportunities in the field of the digital economy. The faculty staff also explained the study process and encouraged students to actively participate in scientific, cultural, and educational activities.
According to the organizers, Orientation Week helped new students adapt more quickly to university life, gain a clearer understanding of the academic process, and become aware of the conditions created for their learning.
Students themselves noted that the event increased their motivation and strengthened their desire to be more active in science, the digital economy, and other fields.
