Meetings with Parents Continue
At Kokand State University, meetings with the parents of first-year students under the theme “I am not indifferent to my child’s future” are continuing.
Within this framework, the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology hosted another meeting. The event was attended by the university’s First Vice-Rector Ahmadjon Husanov, Dean of the Faculty Nigora Erkaboyeva, Head of the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” Department Mirzobek Mahmudov, faculty members, assigned prevention inspectors, students, and their parents.
Opening the meeting, Dean Nigora Erkaboyeva spoke about the priority tasks of the new academic year, the responsibility of parents in the educational process, and the importance of continuous cooperation with them. She also shared information about ongoing reforms and efforts to organize the learning process in line with modern requirements.
First Vice-Rector Ahmadjon Husanov highlighted the wide opportunities created for students, the measures being taken to improve the quality of education, and efforts to strengthen the upbringing process. He stressed that parents should not remain indifferent to the future of their children and should be attentive to their studies, social life, and personal interests.
During the meeting, parents raised questions regarding learning conditions, the social and moral environment at the faculty, student housing, and the meaningful organization of leisure activities. University officials provided detailed responses and emphasized their readiness for further cooperation.
At the conclusion of the event, the parties agreed to hold such meetings regularly, strengthen effective communication between parents and the university, and work together to help students grow into well-rounded individuals.
