Students Got Acquainted with the Ancient Art of Pottery
A group of 85 students from Kokand State University visited the famous handicraft center in Rishtan district. The trip was organized with the support of the Department for Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment, faculty tutors, and the prevention inspector.
During the visit, students became closely acquainted with Rishtan’s rich historical heritage, the ancient art of pottery, and samples of national handicrafts. Masters practically demonstrated the process of creating various ceramic items, traditional ornaments, and decorations.
The students engaged in open dialogue with the craftsmen, gaining valuable insights into the secrets of pottery art and the values passed down from generation to generation.
The trip not only enriched the students’ knowledge and worldview but also helped nurture respect for national traditions. Such events play an important role in developing creativity, as well as fostering diligence and patriotism among young people.
It is planned to continue such visits on a regular basis to further acquaint students with our national heritage, customs, and values.
