Our students qualified for the Uzbekistan Championship

On September 10, 2025, the regional qualifying stage of the Uzbekistan Championship in belt wrestling and freestyle wrestling among athletes born in 2005–2006 was held.

In this competition, students of the Faculty of Arts and Sports of Kokand State University, specializing in Physical Education and trained under the guidance of coach Iqboljon Muýdinov, actively participated and achieved notable results. In particular, Salimov Ozodbek Jamshid og‘li (52 kg), Muxammedov Abdulaziz Khurshid og‘li (57 kg), No‘monov Sherozbek Gulomjon og‘li (48 kg), and Murodaliyeva Musharraf Tohirjon qizi (48 kg) secured first places.

Second place was taken by Rakhmatjonova Madinakhon Azizjon qizi (66 kg), while third places went to Jumanov Izzatillo Khusanjan og‘li (62 kg), Mominov Mukhammadyusuf Ravshanjan og‘li (82 kg), Gulomov Khumoyun Murod og‘li (90 kg), and Yo‘ldashaliyev Mukhibillo Mukhiddin og‘li (100 kg).

Notably, the athletes who won 1st and 2nd places earned the right to compete in the Uzbekistan Championship.
