Weapons, service horses, and emergency drills — students at the National Guard
Students of the Faculty of Arts and Sports at Kokand State University, led by tutor D. Sottiyev, took part in the “Open Doors Day” event organized by the National Guard in Kokand city.
The program of the event began with a visit to the National Guard’s training facility. Participants were introduced to different divisions of the center — technical equipment, weapon storage rooms, and special training grounds. The students received detailed information about various weapons, their main features, and safety rules, as well as practical demonstrations.
In addition, service horses and special vehicles were presented with special attention. The students learned about the training of service horses, their role in operational activities, and the capabilities of special equipment. The exhibition of vehicles and technology not only sparked technological curiosity among the youth but also helped them understand the importance of technical resources in operational situations.
In the practical part of the event, training sessions were held on how to act in emergency situations. These included responding to emergency signals, evacuation procedures, and adherence to safety rules.
This visit helped strengthen students’ sense of patriotism, respect, and responsibility toward the defenders of the homeland. The participants noted that they were greatly impressed by the National Guard’s preparedness and the professionalism of its servicemen.
