Parents and the University: Partnership for the Future

At the Faculties of Natural Sciences and Economics, as well as Arts and Sports of Kokand State University, meetings were held with the parents of first-year students under the theme “I am not indifferent to my child’s future.”

The event was attended by the First Vice-Rector of the university, Ahmadjon Khusanov, faculty deans, professors and teachers, a prevention inspector, and the parents of newly admitted students.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the conditions created at the university, the educational process, social and cultural projects for students, as well as efforts in the legal and moral upbringing of young people.

Parents were informed about their children’s participation in classes, adherence to discipline and behavioral rules, and their involvement in various clubs and scientific projects. It was also emphasized that students have broad opportunities to spend their free time meaningfully and to showcase their talents in sports and the arts.

During the discussion, parents asked questions of concern and received detailed answers from the university administration and faculty members. The meeting was held in a spirit of sincere dialogue.

Such events are important in strengthening cooperation between students, parents, and the university, increasing responsibility for the future of youth, and fostering their development into well-rounded individuals.
