“National Identity and Modernity” – at the center of the roundtable
At the Faculty of Humanities and Languages of Kokand State University, a roundtable discussion was held on the topic of “National Identity and Modernity.” Professors, students, and experts in the field took part in the event, exchanging views on pressing issues.
The discussion focused on the ancient history of national dress, its uniqueness, and its harmonious combination with contemporary fashion. Participants also shared their opinions on clothing culture, the development of aesthetic taste, as well as adherence to norms of behavior and ethics in society.
In addition, proposals and recommendations were put forward regarding the preservation of national values, their promotion among youth, and their integration into modern lifestyles.
