“Five Initiatives Olympiad”: A New Season Has Begun

Today, across our country, the 2025 season of the “Five Initiatives Olympiad,” held among university students, was officially launched with a festive ceremony.

The opening ceremony of this prestigious sporting event, organized centrally on a national scale, took place at the sports complex of Fergana State University. Representatives from all higher education institutions of the region attended.

Kokand State University was represented by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Ahmadjon Husanov, Deputy Chairman of the University Sports Club, Zokir Gafurov, as well as officials from the regional sports department, professors, teachers, and sport-loving students.

During the event, special attention was given to the reforms being carried out in the field of physical education and sports in our country, the opportunities created within the framework of the “Five Initiatives,” and the efforts to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Through various sports, the Olympiad aims to showcase the will, perseverance, and determination of young people to achieve victory, while also strengthening friendship and cooperation among them.

The new season is expected to demonstrate to the public not only the knowledge and potential of students but also their achievements in sports.
