Students of Kokand State University achieved an honorable result

The republican stage of the spring running marathon “Talaba yugur,” held among students of the country’s higher education institutions, concluded in the “New Uzbekistan” Park. The event was organized to encourage youth towards physical education and a healthy lifestyle, as well as to strengthen friendly competition and cooperation among students.

Many students from various universities across the republic participated in the marathon. The race took place along the central alleys and a specially designated track of the “New Uzbekistan” Park, where not only the participants’ speed but also their willpower and physical endurance were tested.

Representatives of the Faculty of Arts and Sports of Kokand State University, Jakhongir Akramov and Elyor Akromov, performed commendably in the competition and secured an honorable second place overall.

At the award ceremony, the marathon organizers presented winners and prize-winners with commemorative gifts and incentive prizes.

Such competitions once again confirmed their importance in promoting sports among students and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
