Event “Teachers and Mentors – the Foundation of New Uzbekistan’s Development” Held at Kokand State University

At Kokand State University, with the participation of students from the Faculty of Foreign Philology, a spiritual and educational event was held at the “Turon” Cultural Center under the slogan “Teachers and Mentors – the Foundation of New Uzbekistan’s Development.”

The event was opened by the University’s First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, Ahmadjon Husanov. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of teachers and mentors in the educational process and highlighted their significant role in the intellectual and moral development of the younger generation.

The Rector’s Adviser on Women’s Affairs, Barnoxon Khasanova, also addressed the audience, congratulating teachers and mentors on their professional holiday. She spoke warmly about the active role of women in education, the dedication of teachers, and their responsibility in nurturing young people.

During the event, students performed musical pieces, poetry recitals, theatrical sketches, and dances. These performances expressed respect and gratitude toward teachers while creating a festive and uplifting atmosphere.

At the conclusion, the faculty’s Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs, Farrux Kushboyev, thanked the organizers and participants, emphasizing that strengthening teacher-student relationships is an important factor in students’ moral and spiritual development.

The event promoted respect for teachers, devotion to national values, and the enhancement of spiritual and educational consciousness among students.
