A Dramatic Final: “QDU” and “Yaypan” Battle It Out to Penalties

The Fergana Regional Cup 2025 final took place in the Bag‘dod district, featuring a thrilling clash between FC “Yaypan” and “QDU”.

Right from kickoff, both teams showed great energy. In the 13th minute, “Yaypan” opened the scoring — 1:0. Just ten minutes later, in the 23rd minute, they doubled their lead — 2:0. In response, “QDU” converted a penalty in the 34th minute, narrowing the gap to 2:1.

The second half remained just as intense. In the 77th minute, “Yaypan” made it 3:1, but only two minutes later, “QDU” struck back again — 3:2. With five minutes of added time, “QDU” pushed forward relentlessly and managed to equalize in the 95th minute, bringing the score to 3:3.

The winner was decided in a dramatic penalty shootout, where luck favored FC “Yaypan”.
