Vice-Rector Visited Students Living in Rental Apartments

At Kokand State University, consistent practical efforts are underway to improve students’ living conditions, promptly address their social issues, and ensure their comfort alongside quality education.

Today, the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Ahmajon Husanov, Chairwoman of the Women’s Advisory Council, Barnokhon Hasanova, Women’s Affairs Inspector, Zulhumor Hayitova, and a working group consisting of tutors visited the homes of students living in rented apartments within the neighborhoods.

During the visit, the team reviewed the apartments’ readiness for the autumn-winter season, heating systems, hygiene conditions, fire safety compliance, and overall living comfort. Some shortcomings were identified on-site, and appropriate recommendations were given to landlords and responsible parties to address them.

The discussions also covered students’ academic progress, meaningful use of their free time, and participation in social activities. Their opinions and suggestions were heard, and measures were determined to provide necessary support.

These visits aim to strengthen students’ social protection, ensure ongoing attention to their welfare, and enhance mutual trust and cooperation between the university and its students.
