Modern Approaches to Teaching Foreign Languages Discussed

A republican scientific-practical conference titled “Modern Trends in Teaching Foreign Languages in Preschool and Primary Education” was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Department of Foreign Language Teaching Methodology of Kokand State University.

The event brought together professors and teachers from leading higher education institutions, representatives of preschool organizations, general education schools, research centers, and private educational institutions.

Participants discussed pressing issues of early foreign language teaching, the integration of advanced international practices into the learning process, the effective use of digital education technologies, the enhancement of teachers’ professional skills, and methods for developing communicative competence among students.

Speakers also highlighted the importance of ongoing reforms in the field of foreign language teaching in Uzbekistan, as well as the relevance of programs initiated by the President of the Republic.

During the conference, presentations of new developments and innovative educational resources created by university faculty members were showcased. Participants exchanged experiences and proposed effective methods for increasing motivation and making the learning process more engaging for students.

At the conclusion of the conference, the most active speakers, authors of outstanding scientific papers, and those with notable innovative ideas were awarded certificates and memorable gifts.

The participants emphasized that such scientific and practical meetings serve as an effective platform for sharing pedagogical experience, supporting young professionals, and improving the quality of education.
