Language Day Celebrated Grandly at the Faculty of Foreign Philology

The Faculty of Foreign Philology held a literary and artistic evening dedicated to October 21 — the Day when the Uzbek language was granted the status of the State Language. The event carried spiritual and educational significance, aiming to strengthen young people’s love and respect for their mother tongue and to promote the priceless heritage of the Uzbek language and literature.

During the evening, students presented poetry, theatrical performances, and musical acts celebrating the beauty of the Uzbek language, the power of words, and the expression of national identity. In addition, presentations were made about the lives and creative works of renowned writers, as well as the historical development of the Uzbek language.

Faculty professors also spoke about the vital role of the native language in the progress of society and its importance in nurturing patriotism and national pride among the younger generation.

The event, held in a festive atmosphere, became one of the most memorable cultural gatherings — inspiring a deeper appreciation for the greatness of the Uzbek language, encouraging its preservation and enrichment, and showcasing the creative talents of students.
