Harmony of Art and Education: International Scientific and Practical Conference
At the Department of Instrumental Performance of the Faculty of Art and Sports, Kokand State University under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an international scientific and practical conference on “Integration of Education in Instrumental Performance” was held.
The conference was opened by the Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Kokand State University, Sharifjon Pulatov, who emphasized the importance of the event, the relevance of integrated approaches in art education, the development of performance culture, and the need to harmonize national heritage with modern educational methods.
The conference was attended by professors from Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University, Uzbek State Conservatory, Uzbek State Institute of Arts and Culture, Fergana State University, as well as foreign higher education institutions such as Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, researchers from the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, and representatives of relevant organizations.
During the event, scholars presented reports in the following sections:
- “Instrumental Performance and Educational Integration: Traditions, Modern Approaches, and Innovations”;
- “Folk Art and National Heritage in Instrumental Education”;
- “Reviving Theatre Scenes through Instrumental Art: The Synthesis of Music and Drama”;
- “Integrated Approaches to Forming Aesthetic Education through Instrumental Art and Dance.”
Within the framework of the conference, performances by young musicians, academic discussions, and reviews of advanced practices in the integration of education and art were held. Important recommendations for the further development of the field were proposed.
