Modern Approaches to Organizing Psychological Services Discussed

A national scientific-practical conference titled “Modern Approaches to Organizing Psychological Services in Educational Institutions of Uzbekistan: Theory and Practice” was held at the Department of Psychology of Kokand State University.

The event was opened by Sharifjon Pulatov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovation of Kokand State University. In his opening remarks, he emphasized the relevance of the conference, highlighting the importance of integrated approaches, the application of modern scientific and methodological experiences, and providing psychological support for personal development in the educational process.

The conference brought together representatives of various higher education institutions, research centers, and practicing psychologists from across the country. The main goal of the event was to further improve the psychological service system in education, find solutions to pedagogical and psychological issues through modern scientific approaches, and develop effective recommendations aimed at fostering a spiritually mature young generation.

Experts speaking at the conference analyzed the role and significance of psychological services in education, the psychological factors influencing youth socialization, as well as pressing issues in organizing psychological support in the digital era.

The conference operated through several thematic sections, including the challenges of youth socialization in the context of globalization, organizing psychological services in educational institutions using digital technologies, developing ethnopsychological values within the 21st-century family, and modern models for working with children with deviant behavior.

Each section featured scientific presentations and the development of practical recommendations. At the end of the event, active researchers, teachers, and students were awarded letters of appreciation and certificates.

The conference served not only as a platform for experience exchange but also as an important step toward advancing psychological services in Uzbekistan and implementing modern scientific approaches into practice.
