Track and Field Competitions Kick Off within the Framework of the “Five Initiatives Olympics”
Today, track and field competitions began at Kokand State University as part of the “Five Initiatives Olympics.” The sporting event, held at the “Yoshlik” Stadium, has become not only a test of strength and agility for students but also a field of friendship and healthy competition.
These competitions are organized within the framework of the President’s Five Important Initiatives to encourage youth participation in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen their willpower and leadership skills.
Four teams from each faculty of the university are participating in the competition. Each team competes in a 400-meter relay race, with both male and female teams showcasing their speed and agility.
The first day of the competition was filled with excitement and energy. Students, coaches, and spectators alike enjoyed a genuine sports atmosphere at the stadium. For participants, every race was a challenge, while for the faculties, it became a matter of pride.
According to the organizers, the winning and runner-up teams will be awarded certificates, memorable gifts, and a ticket to the regional stage. This adds extra motivation and enthusiasm to the event.
The competitions will continue until October 31.
