Students’ Living Conditions Examined
At Kokand State University, regular inspections are conducted to study the living conditions of students, particularly those residing in rented accommodations. The main goal is to ensure students’ social well-being by providing safe and comfortable living environments. Within this framework, special attention is given to the preparedness of rental housing for the autumn-winter season, the state of household conditions, and practical solutions to existing problems.
During the next inspection, a working group consisting of the university’s specialist for monitoring student living conditions D. Rafiqova, psychologists Nargiza Khojanazarova and Nigora Abdullayeva, inspectors from the Kokand City Department of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense — Sergeant A. Isaqov and Major Sh. Meliboyev, as well as faculty tutors, visited several rental houses located at various addresses.
The group examined the living conditions of students residing on Guzar, Kokand Sadosi, Sarbon, and Darxon streets. They inspected the heating systems, electricity and gas supply, fire safety measures, and compliance with sanitary and hygiene standards.
At the end of the inspection, appropriate recommendations were provided to address the identified shortcomings. This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of its students.
