National Values, Science, and Spirituality United at Kokand State University
Today, Kokand State University witnessed a day filled with the spirit of national traditions, creativity, and cultural unity. At the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering, the “National Costumes” and “National Dishes” festival was held under the slogan “National Values and Their Role in the Spirituality of the Nation.” The event aimed to strengthen young people’s sense of national pride and self-awareness.
At the same time, the Faculty of Humanities and Languages organized a roundtable discussion on the same theme — “National Values and Their Role in the Spirituality of the Nation.” Professors and students exchanged ideas about the importance of preserving national traditions, safeguarding spiritual heritage, and harmonizing it with modern life.
The festival served as a vibrant platform to promote national culture and pride among students. Creative displays included beautifully arranged tables featuring traditional Uzbek dishes — plov, samsa, sweets, and other delicacies prepared by students.
A special highlight of the event was the “National Costumes” exhibition, where students showcased traditional attire representing the rich history, cultural legacy, and aesthetic refinement of the Uzbek people.
Performances featuring songs, dances, and poetry brought additional joy and festive energy to the event. Faculty leaders emphasized that such activities not only nurture students’ creativity but also instill in them respect for national heritage and pride in their cultural identity.
