Student Theater Troupes Showcased Their Talent on Stage

At Kokand State University, a review-festival titled “Student Theater Studios” was held among student theater troupes. The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Center for Increasing the Social Activity of Students and Pupils, the Ministry of Culture, and the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan.

The main goal of the festival was to increase students’ interest in theater art, support creative expression, and develop stage culture.

A total of five theater groups from different faculties of the university took part in the competition. Each team performed stage plays highlighting modern social issues, national values, and human virtues. Through their performances, students vividly expressed their love for theater, the power of words, and creative imagination.

During the event, dramatic performances depicting real-life situations, the dreams and aspirations of youth, and pressing social issues were presented. The jury evaluated the performances based on naturalness, acting skills, stage speech, and character interpretation.

As a result, the “Khavokand” team of the Faculty of Humanities and Languages took first place. The “Cosmos” team of the Faculty of Exact Sciences and Engineering won second place, while the “Youth of the Future” team of the Faculty of Primary and Technological Education took third place.

The festival left a deep impression on the audience. Organizers noted that such cultural and educational projects are planned to be held regularly in the future.

This event became not only a stage experience for young people but also a symbol of teamwork, friendship, and dedication to art.
