Khumorabonu Mamajonova Wins Gold Medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games

From November 7 to 21, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is hosting the VI Islamic Solidarity Games. In these prestigious multi-sport competitions, boxing events concluded earlier than other sports.

Representing the Uzbekistan national team, Khumorabonu Mamajonova, a student of the Faculty of Arts and Sports at Kokand State University, competed in the -57 kg weight category and emerged victorious over all her opponents, claiming the championship.

In the final, she faced Azerbaijani athlete Aynur Mikayilova and won decisively with a 5:0 score, bringing another gold medal to the Uzbekistan delegation.

Mamajonova’s achievement is recognized not only as a success for the national team but also as a notable accomplishment for university athletes on the international stage.
