Conference Dedicated to the 100th Anniversary of Academician Rahima Aminova Held

Today, at the Museum of Great Scholars in Kokand, a major scientific conference on the topic “Current Issues in the History of Uzbekistan: Agrarian Policy, Gender, Culture” was held, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Academician Rahima Aminova.

At the opening ceremony, Kokand city mayor Marufjon Usmonov and the First Vice-Rector of Kokand State University Ahmadjon Husanov spoke, highlighting the invaluable contribution of Academician Rahima Aminova to the development of historical science, the formation of her scientific school, and the growth of young researchers.

The conference featured presentations by scholars from the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, faculty members from local and foreign universities, and prominent researchers, discussing pressing issues in agrarian policy, gender, and cultural development. A documentary film on Rahima Aminova’s life and scientific legacy was also screened, emphasizing the continuing relevance of her research today.
