A Meeting with Creative Artists within the “Ma’rifat Ulashib” Project
Today, on November 24, as part of the “Ma’rifat Ulashib” project, Kokand State University welcomed distinguished figures of Uzbek literature — poetess, journalist, member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, Honored Cultural Worker of Uzbekistan, recipient of the “Dustlik” Order, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Zulfiya Muminova, as well as poetess and member of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan Oygul Ubaydulla qizi.
The guests were warmly received by the university's First Vice-Rector, Ahmadjon Husanov, together with a group of creative students. During the meeting, the relevance of the project, the importance of literature and artistic creativity, and the role of reading in the lives of young people were discussed. Special attention was given to encouraging reading culture among students and increasing their interest in education.
After the meeting, the guest scholars planted ornamental trees on the university grounds. This eco-initiative carried not only environmental value but also symbolic meaning, representing the continuity of enlightenment and goodwill.
The next event within the project was held at School No. 25 of Kokand city. During the session, Zulfiya Muminova and Oygul Ubaydulla qizi conversed with pupils, sharing thoughts on the essential role of books and knowledge in their spiritual, intellectual, and personal development.
Throughout the meeting, the students asked questions, presented their creative works, and performed short stage scenes, showcasing their talents. The event proceeded in a warm, sincere, and meaningful atmosphere.
