At the Faculty of Humanities and Languages of Kokand State University, the 120th anniversary of the outstanding figure of Uzbek literature, writer and scholar Muso Toshmuhammad-ogli Oybek, was widely celebrated. On this occasion, a spiritual and educational event titled “The Sun Shining in the Sky of Creativity” was organized.

The event was attended by professors, literary scholars, faculty students, and book enthusiasts interested in Oybek’s works. The program began with a lecture on Oybek’s life, the formation of his creative path, and his contribution to the development of Uzbek literature. Speakers highlighted the significance of his literary journey, scholarly research, and artistic legacy.

During the evening, the artistic value and ideological direction of Oybek’s major novels — “Navoi”, “The Sun Will Not Set”, “Qutlug’ Kon” — were analyzed, as well as his life-affirming stories, philosophical essays, and lyrical poetry as a source of moral and personal development for the younger generation.

In addition, students performed readings from his works, staged scenes, and artistic presentations, which added a lively and festive spirit to the event. Oybek’s ideas of humanism, patriotism, and justice left a deep impression on the audience.

At the conclusion of the evening, it was emphasized that promoting Oybek’s rich literary heritage, studying his works in depth, and passing them on to future generations is of paramount importance.
