In the Name of Justice and Responsibility: Event Dedicated to International Anti-Corruption Day

At Kokand State University, an educational and cultural event was held at the Turon Cultural Centre in connection with December 9 — International Anti-Corruption Day.

The event aimed to widely promote anti-corruption ideas and to strengthen the principles of honesty, responsibility and justice in the minds of young people. The programme was attended by Vice-Rector Jasur Azanov, Mirzobek Mahmudov — Head of the Department for Managing the “Komplayens nazorat” (Compliance Control) system for anti-corruption, faculty members, students and invited guests.

The programme included a concert featuring talented youth and performers, as well as presentations of public-awareness projects on anti-corruption. Authors of the best ideas and works who actively participated in creative competitions were awarded diplomas and commemorative gifts by the university leadership.

In the moral and educational speeches, speakers addressed the impact of corruption on society, advanced approaches to its prevention, and the importance of the principles of honesty and legality.

Participants received detailed information on effective anti-corruption measures, on fostering a culture of integrity, and on the importance of civic stance. The event contributed to further strengthening students’ sense of justice and responsibility.
