“Rector’s Cup 2025”: A Fierce Showdown of Humor, Creativity, and Wit on Stage

At the Musical Drama Theater in Kokand, the “Fun and Smart – Rector’s Cup 2025” contest, organized by Kokand State University as part of the “Student Month”, was held in a grand and festive atmosphere.

This contest is annually one of the most anticipated and exciting student stage projects. This year, it once again captured everyone’s attention with its magnificent and engaging performances. Teams from various university faculties presented acts enriched with humor, cleverness, stage improvisation, and creative ideas.

At the opening of the event, the importance of student motivation, initiative, and teamwork was emphasized. Following that, a heated competition between the teams began, with each performance warmly applauded by the audience. Unique humor, acting skills, diverse characters, and live stage performances brought genuine joy to the spectators.

Performances were evaluated by a jury based on professional criteria, taking into account the teams’ creativity, stage culture, presentation of the theme, overall impact, and ability to engage with the audience.

According to the jury’s decision:

1st place — “Trenddagi yoshlar” team, Faculty of Humanities and Languages,

2nd place — “Parvoz” team, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Economics,

3rd place — “Dadamning jamoasi” team, Faculty of Arts and Sports.

With impressive performances, a lively atmosphere, and a showcase of students’ versatile talents, this contest became one of the most memorable events of “Student Month”.
