“Hokim and Youth” Meeting Held at Kokand State University
Today, an important meeting was held at Kokand State University with the participation of graduating students. The event was attended by the Mayor (Hokim) of Kokand city, Mr. Ma’rufjon Usmonov. The open dialogue, titled “Hokim and Youth,” aimed to foster initiative, patriotism, creativity, and social activity among young people, as well as to help graduates find their rightful place in society.
The event was also attended by university leadership, representatives of employer companies and organizations, and heads of various institutions. Various projects were presented, available job vacancies were introduced, and interactive discussions were held between graduates and potential employers.
During the event, Mayor Ma’rufjon Usmonov provided detailed information about state programs aimed at supporting youth. He also encouraged graduates to be more proactive in entering the labor market, starting their own businesses, advancing innovative ideas, and implementing them in practice.
Young participants asked questions on topics that interested them. They shared their thoughts on the barriers they face when starting a business and on employment opportunities.
In addition, proposals and recommendations were made regarding the employment of young specialists, their involvement in local projects, and supporting their interest in science and technology. The mayor emphasized that every initiative, innovative idea, and practical project from youth would always be supported, and that necessary conditions for this would be created within the local administration.
At the end of the meeting, the youth expressed their gratitude to the mayor and emphasized the importance of organizing such open dialogues on a regular basis in the future.
