Kokand State University Takes an Important Step Towards International Cooperation

On July 12 of this year, an agreement was reached on a tripartite memorandum of cooperation between Kokand State University, “Hong Gang International” LLC (a China–Uzbekistan joint venture), and the “Kokand Free Economic Zone Directorate” unitary enterprise at the "Kokand Technopark" special industrial zone.

The cooperation will cover the following areas:

▪️ Training of highly demanded specialists;

▪️ Providing practical internships for talented youth;

▪️ Implementation of innovative educational programs;

▪️ Realization of a $60 million lithium battery production project.

The event was attended by Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade J. Khodjaev and Fergana Region Governor Kh. Bozorov.

The negotiation process was carried out by Sh. Pulatov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovation at Kokand State University, and B. Turakhojayev, Chief Specialist of the “Student Internship” Department.
