Social assistance will be provided to women from low-income families and their children for tuition fees
In order to ensure social justice and equal opportunities in education, an important new measure has been introduced in our country. From now on, women listed in the low-income family registry, as well as one of their children (if there are two or more), studying at higher education institutions, will receive social assistance in the form of tuition fee coverage.
According to the Cabinet of Ministers' decision dated July 23, 2025, this assistance will cover up to 50% of the tuition fee, but not exceeding 50 times the base calculation amount.
Women over the age of 30 and their children who are listed in the low-income family registry are eligible for this assistance. To receive the support, the following documents are required:
an official admission order to a higher education institution;
a contract confirming enrollment on a paid (tuition-based) basis.
This assistance is only available to students studying full-time in undergraduate or graduate (master’s) programs.
The support is provided once, for the entire duration of the studies, and is granted solely based on a tuition agreement.
This decision creates a significant opportunity for many socially vulnerable youth who aspire to receive higher education.
