KSU Secures a Brilliant Victory Over the League Leader

The 8th round of the Fergana Region Second League Championship turned into a true football battle. For Kokand State University’s team, this match was a serious test — and for the current championship leader, a major challenge.

In a match held in the Qo‘shtepa district, the "KSU" football team faced off against "Baland Masjid," a team that had been leading the tournament standings with 16 points. Even before kickoff, this match was anticipated to be one of the most exciting and significant of the season. However, no one expected "KSU" to deliver such a strong and tactically rich performance.

The university team claimed a confident 3–1 victory, defeating the top team. This result not only earned them three points but also marked a turning point in the standings — a clear reflection of their mental readiness and hunger for victory.

This win was no accident. Although most players on the "KSU" team are university students, they proved to be physically strong, tactically mature, and, most importantly, driven by a desire to win.

“The opponent was strong. But we prepared seriously for this match. In our students' hearts, there was only one mission — to proudly represent the name of our university. This victory is a result of the team’s spirit and unity,” said team manager Usmon Sultonov.

From now on, every match will carry even greater responsibility and importance for the "KSU" footballers.
