Roundtable Discussion at the University on Combating Crime and Corruption
Today, a roundtable discussion was held at Kokand State University for first-year students of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology under the themes “What is Crime?” and “University — a Corruption-Free Zone.” The main purpose of the event was to raise awareness among students about the negative consequences of crime and corruption, as well as to prevent them from becoming victims of crime.
During the meeting, the Head of the University’s “Anti-Corruption and Compliance Control Department,” Mr. M. Mahmudov, and the University Inspector, Mr. S. Yuldashev, presented information on the topic and provided explanations regarding legal and regulatory documents.
In addition, the Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the faculty, Ms. D. Rakhmatullayeva, delivered a detailed lecture on the rights, duties, and responsibilities of students as defined in the University’s “Internal Labor Regulations” and “Code of Ethics.”
The event emphasized the importance of enhancing students’ legal literacy, complying with laws, and maintaining an active stance against corruption.
