The Outcome of the Joint Education Program: First Thesis Defense in Grodno

On June 26, a thesis defense ceremony was held at the Faculty of Psychology of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno (Belarus) for students who studied under the joint education program.

The joint program, carried out in cooperation with Grodno State University, opened new opportunities for students and faculty members of both higher education institutions.

The students studied full-time on a tuition-contract basis. They completed the first two years at Kokand State University and the final two years at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

Eight students successfully defended their theses and received the qualification of “Pedagogue-Psychologist.” Members of the State Attestation Commission highly praised the quality of the presented work and the students' readiness for professional activity.

The achievement of such high results was significantly supported by the scientific advisors, the teaching staff, and the implementation of the best practices from both universities.

The graduation of our students under this joint education program with Grodno State University marked an important step in strengthening international cooperation and in training qualified specialists in the field of psychology.
